Honorable Randall T. Shepard

Randall T. Shepard of Evansville was appointed to the Indiana Supreme Court by Governor Robert D. Orr in 1985 at the age of 38. He became Chief Justice of Indiana in March 1987.

A seventh generation Hoosier, Shepard graduated from Princeton University cum laude and from the Yale Law School. He earned a Master of Laws degree in the judicial process from the University of Virginia.

Shepard was Judge of the Vanderburgh Superior Court from 1980 until his appointment. He earlier served as executive assistant to Mayor Russell Lloyd of Evansville and as special assistant to the Under Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Chief Justice Shepard was also Trustee of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. He served as chair of the ABA Appellate Judges Conference and of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar. During 2005-06, Shepard served as President of the National Conference of Chief Justices. Chief Justice John Roberts recently appointed him to the U.S. Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Civil Rules.

He teaches periodically at the law schools of NYU and Yale.

Kathryn Schymik is an Associate with Ziemer, Stayman, Weitzel & Shoulders, LLP.  Kathryn received her undergraduate degree in Communications from Purdue University in 2001. She went on to obtain her law degree from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis in 2004, and was the recipient of the Indiana State Bar Association Taxation Award for 2004. Kathryn is a member of the American, Indiana, Illinois and Evansville Bar Associations as well as the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation.

Kathryn is also an active member of the community, having served as Past President of Leadership of Evansville and on the Indiana Small Business Development Center Advisory Board. She has also contributed her time and talents to the area’s Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Funk in the City programs.

Maura G. Robinson founded her company in 1994. It operates as a corporation since 1996. Mrs. Robinson has an undergraduate degree in Sociology form the University of Evansville completed in 1983. She also has a Masters in Public Administration from Indiana State University completed in 1994. She teaches as an adjunct instructor for the University of Evansville. Robinson is fluent in Spanish.

Brad Muehlbauer, Koch Air

Brad Muehlbauer is Vice President of Operations at Koch Air, LLC, a distributor of Carrier heating and air conditioning equipment in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Missouri.  Brad also serves as a director on the boards of Koch Air, Gibbs Die Casting, Brake Supply, Uniseal, Koch Enterprises, and the Koch Foundation.

Brad holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and a MBA from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining Koch Air, Brad held several management positions at Gibbs Die Casting, most recently serving as president of North American Operations. Brad has also worked as a project manager at BP, and as a management consultant for KPMG.

Brad serves as a director and member of the Executive Committee for Easter Seals of Southwestern Indiana.

Jeffrey Berger, Hilliard Lyons

Jeffrey Berger is a native of Highland Park, Illinois a northern suburb of Chicago.  He moved to Evansville in 1996 to serve as Executive Director of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra.  Jeffrey served in this position for 4 ½ years and chose to make a career change joining Integra Bank in 2001 as Vice President and a Private Banking Officer.  In July 2006, Jeffrey joined Hilliard Lyons and is a Financial Consultant and Chartered Wealth Advisor with the firm.
Jeffery graduated cum laude from Miami University in Oxford Ohio in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Business and minors in Music History and Arts Management.  He is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Southern Indiana. 
When not working, he is spending time with family.  His wife Erin is a native of Evansville.  She is an attorney in private practice and a juvenile public defender for Vanderburgh County.  They have two daughters, Madeline Adele – Age 5 and Melanie Corrine – Age 3.
Jeffrey serves on the Board of Directors of the Public Education Foundation, Friends of University of Evansville Music, Temple Adath B’nai Israel, The Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana and The Evansville Museum of Arts History and Science. He is also Treasurer and an active member of the Rotary Club of Evansville

Amy Romain Barron is an Evansville native committed to helping improve the community through public service. A graduate of North High School and Indiana University, she began employment with United Companies in 1999. Sally Becker, EVSC Board of School Trustees

An Evansville native, Sally Becker is a graduate of Bosse High School where she was editor of the school newspaper, The School Spirit.  This experience under an excellent teacher launched a career in journalism upon graduation from Northwestern University where she studied journalism as well as political science and history.  While at Northwestern, Sally also received her secondary teaching license.  She taught two years in Evansville and suburban St. Louis before entering broadcast journalism in Evansville with the NBC affiliate.  She was promoted to statehouse correspondent in Indianapolis and was invited to audition for NBC New York before deciding to marry instead. Ms. Becker has two children, both valedictory graduates of Harrison High School now living in Chicago as an attorney and business consultant respectively.

Long involved in public education, Sally says she never thought she’d be a school board trustee but feels on reflection all paths pointed her in that direction.  She’s a former president of the Public Education Foundation; the president of the parent support group for high-achieving students, Horizons; and president of the Harrison Athletic Boosters and Harrison Concert Choir patron.  For 12 years she worked in real estate management and otherwise served in college program administration.  In 2008 she published a memoir, Raising Them Alone, and is now preparing to be a certified family life educator.
