About Us
EVSC Foundation is the designated fundraising agency for EVSC schools. As a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization, EVSC offers tax deductible opportunities for individuals, businesses and other organizations desiring to impact EVSC educational programs and related activities.
EVSC Foundation focuses on major funding to support Strategic Plan projects such as Technology, Early Childhood Education, Innovative Schools, Professional Development, and Core Experiences. Also, EVSC Foundation will give special emphasis to the establishment of endowments which will create revenue streams in perpetuity to sustain EVSC programs and activities.
Currently, the Foundation does not seek funding for individual or classroom projects. The current focus is on endowment building for long term sustainability of EVSC programs and major funding of key Strategic Plan initiatives. Additionally, the Foundation is presently interested in creating new sources of revenue rather than duplicating existing fundraising efforts.
The Foundation has already received funding in excess of $750,000 in the short time it has been in existence. We are very grateful to our donors for their generosity. St. Mary’s Medical Systems, Vectren Foundation, and VPS Architecture provided substantial support for many EVSC programs such as Core Experiences, Athletic Programs, EVSC Foundation Hall of Fame and much more.
All donations to the Foundation are tax deductible as allowable by IRS Regulations. As a separate legal entity from the school corporation, the Foundation accepts gifts through payroll deduction, check or cash, through bequests in wills, as beneficiaries of personal life insurance, retirement accounts, annuities, and through charitable trusts
